So this is a bit of a weird one. For my communication design capstone final, we got to create anything we wanted that we thought would look good in our portfolio. I thought "wouldn't it be cool to design the packaging for a mead brand." And so Buzzed Brewery was born.
But I didn't stop there. For those of you that don't know, mead is essentially honey wine. And I just so happened to know a beekeeper. So I volunteered with him for a summer to get enough honey to make a batch. Then I brewed about 3 gallons worth of mead for the next 6 months.
Hopefully I'll get good enough to one day open my own meadery and source honey from local beekeepers to keep our bee populations alive!
